Art enthusiasts throughout the New England area who are visiting Martha’s Vineyard over Memorial Day weekend; make sure you visit The Eisenhauer Gallery for an amazing art show by featured artist Jill Soukup! Soukup’s paintings and art work are highly accredited through a variety of premier awards and exposure from some of the most recognized art publications, including The Artist’s Magazine and The Cultural Times. Viewers have the unique opportunity to look over and review Soukup’s paintings, which touch upon a number of themes that span from majestic horses to components of urban and marine environments.
Those who are familiar with Martha’s Vineyard and its wholesome, nostalgic atmosphere are sure to enjoy phenomenal oil on canvas paintings that reflect common conceptions around the island, such as “Rooftop Buoy” and “Boat on a Pedestal.” Jill initially pursued a career in graphic design after graduating from Colorado State University in 1991.
After working as a designer for 11 years, she transitioned to painting and working as a professional artist full-time. Soukup’s work continues to gain recognition as she receives awards, appears in national publications, and shows in important group and one-woman exhibitions. All guests are welcome to browse throughout the entire gallery to view and check out other rare art work and amazing custom jewelry to take home or add to the collection.
