Veronique Clamot

The tiny "baigneuses" or bathers, in bronze by Véronique Clamot are sculpted with loads of appetite and feel absolutely comfortable with their round forms. Chubby women at the seaside, caught off guard, they display a realism drenched in universal truth.  Sharp observations, brought to life by the skillful hands of the artist using the traditional lost wax method.
